Kokerboom strengthens church missions in Namibia by helping congregations rediscover their calling in the places where God has planted them. Every congregation has a story, a community and a God-given purpose. This calling is not copied from another church or imported from a programme. It is discovered through prayer, honest conversation, theological reflection and careful attention to context.

Many smaller congregations carry deep faithfulness, strong relationships and a long history of service, but they may also feel uncertain about the future. Kokerboom helps churches move from survival thinking toward faithful participation in the Missio Dei, the mission of God. Instead of asking only, “How do we keep going?”, we help congregations ask, “Where is God calling us now?”

Through listening, discernment and renewal, Kokerboom walks with pastors, elders, deacons and church councils as they reflect on their story, leadership, worship life, relationships and wider community. Because the church’s mission in Namibia takes place in towns, farming communities, villages, urban centres and rural areas, Kokerboom does not offer one-size-fits-all answers.

Our goal is not activity for the sake of activity. A healthy congregation is not simply a busy congregation. Kokerboom helps churches move forward through deeper discernment, honest conversation, shared leadership, faithful worship and practical action.
